Road Rules Solutions is a privately owned pan African company that wasfounded to be a pre-eminent pioneer of innovative traffic, road safety and transportation technologies in Africa. After competing with over 250 companies in the Total Africa Startupper of the Year 2016 Challenge, Road Rules won 3rd prize in Zimbabwe. When Road Rules was still at concept stage, we won the DEMO Africa 2015 competition, as one of Africa’s top 30 startup ideas with the potential to scale and grow across Africa.

In 2014 the company won 2nd place in the Ampion Venture Bus Southern Africa, a regional startup competition that took place on a bus which traveled 3,500kms across Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia and South Africa in five (5) days with the event culminating at the Master Class Stage at the Africa Com 2014 conference.

In Zimbabwe, the company competed with more than 160 competitive companies and became a finalist during the 2015 Innovation Baraza competition, which was run by the UDUGU Institute. Road Rules has received the support of the Government of Zimbabwe through the Office of The President and Cabinet, the Ministry of Information Communication Technology and the Zimbabwe Youth Council.

Tawanda Chikosi

Founder & CEO

Tawanda is a 2014 US Department of State Professional Fellow, an Ampion Venture Bus Southern Africa Winner and Fellow, Zimbabwe’s Top Young ICT Innovator of the Year 2011, Zimbabwe’s Top Young ICT Innovator of the Year 2013 1st Runner Up, 2015 US Department of State Professional Fellow Alumni Impact Award Winner, 2015 Zimbabwe Young Achievers Technology Awards nominee and 2015 Zimbabwe Innovation Baraza Finalist. He recently won 3rd place in the Total Africa Startupper Challenge on the year 2016 Zimbabwe awards

Chengetai Chikwanha

Co-Founder & Creative Designer

Chengetai Chikwanha is a certified marketing consultant with over a decade of experience in the advertising and communications arena.
He has worked secularly in operational as well as managerial marketing positions at Africa Online where he earned worker and sales person of the
year accolades, Cyberplex Africa and SummerHay Media where he worked on the Ngoma award winning television campaign for HelpAge before establishing his consultancy firm in 2008

Chido Chikosi

Co-Founder & Client Relations Manager

Chido is a very dedicated and experienced client relations manager with solid call center support and telesales experience acquired both in South Africa and Zimbabwe. She served one of Zimbabwe’s leading mobile telecommunications companies in field sales and support before playing a pivotal role in the founding of Road Rules Solutions. Chido attained a Diploma in Information Technology, a Higher National
Diploma in Information Technology from the Harare Polytechnic College and a Certified Cisco Networking Associate certificate from the University of Zimbabwe.
